THE WINES
Our grapes are grown on the estate and in the Horse Heaven Hills for the best possible start to production. The vine is maintained by hand throughout the year and harvested at the peak of perfection to keep levels and flavors just right. After de-stemming, the grapes are carefully tended in small batches before being sent to the barrel to rest and perfect. The wine is then bottled onsite with care and stored to rest again before being made ready for distribution and enjoyment.
THE WINERY
Crafted by hand, Prosser Vineyard and Winery continues the traditions of making wine the old fashioned way…by hand. Only small adjustments were needed to perfect the award-winning methods originally tried more than a decade ago. Beginning his wine practice in California, Bill Jenkin and his wife Lisa have already made their mark in the Prosser Valley.
Bill met Lisa in Washington State where they discovered rich and nutritious soil alongside plenty of sunshine in Prosser, Washington. Bill and Lisa designed the vineyard estate to encompass both the wine grapes and a 360-degree view of the breathtaking sights this region of Washington state has to offer, reigniting the passion of wine crafting with each morning view and evening sunset.
